Description
A woman is forced to confront the nightmares of her past in order to stop a secret cult intent on gathering children to fulfil its master plan. An Event Series adapted for the screen, THE CLEARING is based on the novel by JP Pomare and inspired by the real-life Australian cult “The Family” and its founder Anne Hamilton-Byrne, one of the rare female cult leaders in history.
8x1hr miniseries produced by Wooden Horse for Disney+. Directed by Jeff Walker and Gracie Otto and starring Miranda Otto, Guy Pearce and Teresa Palmer. This was shot on location in Melbourne 2022.
